2019 was a challenging, yet exciting year in which we accelerated our digital transformation drive to build strong capabilities that enable us to deliver unique and relevant client solution in an increasingly competitive environment.
In addition to growth in assets and capital, we made several technology updates including announcing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure as preferred cloud providers to migrate production workloads, including our customer facing platforms and strategic core internal and external banking applications, to the cloud.
We believe our Africa-wide network is unmatched in its breadth, depth and robustness, and we work hard to ensure that all our capabilities are at the service of our clients, 24/7, 365 days a year, on digital channels or in person.
