Christine Durant joined Standard Bank (Mauritius) Limited in January 2024 as Head: Operations. She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years in the payment industry. Prior to this appointment she has spent the last eight years at ICPS Ltd (a subsidiary of HPS, a leading international innovative payments solutions company), holding various roles and until recently as Head of Sales. She has also worked for Galitt, a European leader in payments for five years, holding various roles such as General Manager, Galitt Middle East Consultancy in Bahrain. Christine started her career at MCB in the Organisation and Systems Business Unit in 2003.

Christine Durant has been recognised by Zwipe, a Norwegian biometry technology company, as one of 6 distinguished Women professionals in the World of Payments in 2022. Outside of work, Christine enjoys gym and aerobics activities as well as running.
